What's Driving You?

If you were to ask me this question 5 years ago I would've said money.

No question.

I wanted to be an investment banker, work on Wall Street, and get paid.

Now, things have changed a little bit.

I work on Main Street. Haven't gotten a real paycheck in 8 months.

So to say money is my driving factor nowadays would be wildly inaccurate. I've moved on from wanting to be rich, to wanting to be wealthy.

Back in 2020, I started my own financial planning company to serve millennials and Gen Z with one main goal in mind:

Help my generation learn and understand personal finance

After realizing money was an awful driving factor, my focus switched to legacy, doing good, helping others, and making an impact.

I'm glad I came to that realization early on in my career because work is much more fulfilling when you're doing it because you love it, not because of that bi-weekly paycheck.

But everyone finds their driving factors at different points in life. . .

So my question to you is, what's driving you? Why do you get out of bed every morning?
