A Day of Living

Today was the first day in a long time that things started to feel "normal" again.

After over a year of quarantine and social distancing, we're beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

My Saturday was spent golfing, going out for lunch and drinks, and a little shopping and I never thought such regular things would feel so refreshing.

After getting my second vaccine 2 weeks ago, walking around without a mask felt almost as foreign as when we had to start wearing them.

.  .  .  .

This essay feels more like a journal entry but that's all that's really on my mind today.

I don't have any lessons or learnings to share.

Sometimes we need a break from the constant content creation, education, and online relationship building.

Sometimes we just need to live.

And that's what today was.

A day of living.
