YouTube University

How many times have you gone down the YouTube rabbit hole?

You know, where you start with one video and end up watching a video of some guy explaining how bridges are built.

Well, this recently happened to me. But in a good way.

I was watching videos about how to use and build websites on Webflow and ended up on a different channel that talks about how to sell brand strategy and other design services.

I'm not exactly sure what the guy's real role is, but he recorded a series where they're basically filming a consulting session where he's helping someone who's trying to build their brand strategy as a service business.

In short, it's one of the coolest things I've watched on YouTube. That industry intrigues me and I love learning things from industries outside of financial services.

But to the point I'm trying to make, you can learn just about anything on YouTube - from people who have actually done it.

I think it gets overlooked because anyone can post anything on there, but there's people who have built million dollar businesses who share their knowledge for free to anyone who has an internet connection. So next time you want to learn something new or try and pick up a new skill or side hustle, I can almost guarantee you'll find something helpful on YouTube.
